Mac Brainiac: Tips for Noobs Article #3 - Exposé and Dashboard

Exposé and Dashboard are two of the most awesome functions in a mac.

Exposé

Exposé allows you to see the various windows that are open in a birds eye view and also lets you switch between them. By default exposé is activated by pressing f3 or f9. In apple notebooks, you can activate it by putting 4 fingers on the trackpad and moving them all downwards.

Dashboard

Dashboard is a cool function of Mac OS X in which you can view and add "Widgets" or as a PC User might call them "Gadgets" to a dark transparent screen space. You can download widgets from a selection of thousands of widgets at http://www.apple.com/downloads/dashboard.
