Don't you hate it when you leave your computer on for a while and forget to switch ot off before you sleep ? Or maybe you've been meaning to get to do some work on your computer but you were tired and fell asleep with your mac on ? In short, maybe you just forgot to switch your mac off overnight ? Now if you, like me, do that occasionally, then you should probably consider setting a bedtime for your mac. And wait, it gets better.
This bedtime unlike the one in Parental Controls, apart from allowing you to switch on and off / sleep / restart your mac at a particular time ALSO allows you to switch it on anytime in between without an administrator password!
So to start, Open System Preferences from the apple menu from the apple icon on the top-left corner of your screen.
Now click on Energy Saver
Now click on schedule near the bottom-left corner of the window.
Now select a suitable bedtime for your mac.
And say "Good Night Mac"
