Pair an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard to your iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch

This is fairly useful when you need to do a large amount of typing. I use it when I need to send off long emails, compose pages documents or even write long notes.





Anyway to do so, simply -

1. Go to Settings --> General --> Bluetooth on your iPad and switch the bluetooth on.
2. Now press and hold the power button on the right side of your apple wireless keyboard for about 5 - 8 seconds until the green light on your keyboard starts flashing. Your keyboard is now in discoverable mode.
3. Now, on your iPad, in the Bluetooth section, under Devices, press the keyboard's name ( apple wireless keyboard by default ).
4. A pop up will appear on your iPad screen with a random set of numbers. 5. Type these numbers on your keyboard and then press "return / enter".
6. Your keyboard is now paired to your iPad.
