OS X Safari Reader
You've probably heard of the new "Reader" function on iOS 5. But did you know that Safari 5 on OS X already has such a feature ? It basically detects that you're reading an article and allows you to click on the reader button in the URL bar which gives you the freedom to read the article in a nice clean environment free from advertisements and distractions thus speeding up your reading process. You can see the images too.
